Mobile Law
Pavan has been working on various issues pertaining to mobile law for the last few years. He has dealt with various cases pertaining to mis-use of mobile handsets, mobile devices, mobile platforms as also data and information as resident thereon. He has testified before the Indian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology on various occasions. He has stressed on the need for more direct provisions pertaining to mobile law. He has been utilizing the provisions of the Information Technology Act 2000 to make them applicable to mobiles, mobile devices as well as mobile platforms and data and information resident thereon.
He has written the detailed treatise entitled “Mobile Law” which demonstrates how the mobile law in India has developed and what are its salient features and what directions is it likely to achieve in the coming times. He has been advising major companies and stakeholders in the mobile ecosystem to assist them in their various legal issues and aspects that governed their respective business operations. He has involved with various latest cases of criminal liability involving the use of mobiles. He has also been involved in litigations as a counsel.
He has also been involved as a counsel in India’s first litigation pertaining to mobile devices and mis-use of confidential data, information and trade secrets resident thereon. He is actively contributing to the growth of mobile in India.
